Lilies

Maybe questions separate man from lilies. It’s hard to imagine lilies asking questions. It is imagination that creates questions and then seeks answers.

Imagination creates realities other than the one we own. It fiddles with the real world. All lilies know is how to be lilies. They just do the only thing they can and dream of nothing else. Their reality is their dream—is that what bliss is?

When your reality and what you dream are the same and you never ask, “What if,” then being a lily might be right up your alley.
