Man has a penchant to order his world whether socks in his drawer, a fence around his yard, his streets by number, animals by phylum, his world by longitude and latitude, his universe by galaxies.
He has a need to have control over his environment. It brings security and safety; security and safety induce freedom; freedom induces creativity; creativity restrains entropy; entropy results in the death of everything in the universe.
It could be that man, by building fences, walls and boundaries to create order, stays the coming, inevitable entropy.
